“The churches of Christ salute you.” — Romans 16:16

Daily Bible Reading Schedule

This schedule does not follow the order in which the books appear in the Bible but arranges them chronologically. The poetic and prophetic books of the Old Testament are inserted into the historical narrative at the point they were likely written. Likewise, the Epistles of the New Testament are inserted within Acts. The order is widely accepted among conservative Bible scholars. (Taken from the Gospel Gazette website.)

Article: Do Angels Minister to Christians Today?

By Wayne Jackson | Christian Courier

“Are they not ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of them that shall inherit salvation?” — Hebrews 1:14

The passage affirms that angels are ministering spirits sent by God to serve believers. The Greek form implies an affirmative answer—yes, angels minister to God’s people.

They are continually sent forth by God to act according to His divine will, serving those who will inherit salvation. Though the age of miracles has ceased, God may still use angels through providential means to accomplish His purposes.

There’s no evidence that angels appear visibly today as they did in ancient times (e.g., Acts 10). Their work now seems to function invisibly within God’s providence.
