The churches of Christ salute you. Romans 16:16

This Daily Bible Reading Schedule does not follow the order in which the books appear in the Bible. It is rather a chronological arrangement. The poetic and prophetic books of the Old Testament are inserted in the historical books at the point in the narrative where they are thought to have been written. Likewise, the Epistles of the New Testament are inserted in the narrative of the Book of Acts. The chronological order used here is agreeable to most conservative Bible scholars. (The daily schedule was taken from the Gospel Gazette website.)

(Story about Marshall Keeble and a late-night call regarding Acts 22:16 and baptism. Ends with the couple being baptized.)

The Lord’s Supper: Blessed and Gave Thanks — Raymond Elliott

A detailed article explaining the meaning of “blessed” and “gave thanks” in Matthew 26, Luke 22, and 1 Corinthians 11, including Greek word analysis (eulogesas / eucharistesas), quotes from Albert Barnes, and reflections on Jesus giving thanks before His suffering.
Ends with encouragement that our hearts overflow with gratitude during the Lord’s Supper.
