A New Brother in Christ! Nataniel Merilus was baptized Wednesday night. Let’s all welcome our new brother and congratulate his family.

Ice Cream Social: TONIGHT after Evening Service! Plan to be here and enjoy your favorite: banana split, root beer or coke floats, a cone, or a sundae with your favorite toppings! We’ll move tables outside to the side lawn immediately after our study.

Second Sunday Singing: Sept 8th, after evening worship, at the Lacuata’sLadies Class: Resumes on Wednesday Sept 11th, 10-11AM; Study materials will be available before first class.

Lunch Bunch: Tuesday, Sept 24th, 11:30AM.At ‘Pancakes R US’ Order what you want but each person pays for their meal. Everyone is welcome. The food and fellowship are always very good!

Loving Our Neighbors: Saturday, Sept 28th, at 8:30AM, meet at the building Start the day with a hearty and delicious breakfast and fellowship, and then walk throughout our surrounding neighborhood to pick up trash and minister.
Trash bags, gloves and Church of Christ t-shirts are provided.

Orphan Sunday: Special contribution on November 10. Please begin planning to give to ‘Orphan’s Lifeline International’, which serves orphans around the world. Their newsletter is posted on the bulletin board in the foyer.

Dana Walker: Dana has chosen to place her membership at the Inland Valley church of Christ in Ontario. The Elders wish her well & appreciate her time at Chino. We will miss her smile!

World English Institute (WEI) needs Internet Bible Teachers: offers an English Grammar / Bible course. English is used to go fishing for men and women. New students from every country in the world are starting Bible studies each month. The lessons are automatically graded by the website. Teachers reply to their students’ questions about God and faith. Raymond Robertson (Pat Robertson’s grandson): On 8/26, he got into a fight & was stabbed in the heart. Providentially, he was able to flag down an ambulance for help. He had successful surgery at San Antonio Regional Hospital. He has recovered sufficiently to be released from the hospital. He is staying with Pat while he recovers.

Kathy Parker: A close friend of the Schissler’s. Will undergoing a 6 hour surgery on Monday 9/2.

Mildred Hamilton: Fell and broke a hip. Had successful surgery at Kaiser Irvine on Sunday 8/11. She has moved to a rehabilitation facility in Orange County for a few days. They will be helping her with pain management and confidence, due to her broken hip and surgery last week. Continue prayers for Mildred.

Randy Waggoner: (Tammy and John Waggoner’s father) has passed away. He was in a VA hospital in Fresno. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Cal Yingly: Brother at the Big Bear church. Has suffered at least two strokes. Is very ill.

Bob Alvord: Judy’s passing and general health issues.

Debbie Luckert: Friend of the Mellard’s, having tests due to problems from brain surgery

Lee Dacus: Lee is at home but not doing well. Grieving over Doris’s passing.

Vince & Dodie Ellingson: They need prayers as they deal with Dodie’s dementia.

John Irving (Mary Irving’s husband): Has cancer. Is in significant pain.

Andrea Kettinger: Member of the Big Bear church is having significant health issues.Sally Dorling: Bob’s mother. Has been diagnosed with lymphoma.

Teresa (Lenika’s mom): Health issues

Shaun Jones: Barbara Moore’s son, is in need of a kidney transplant

Brenda Shoemaker, Niki Weakland’s friend: Has been diagnosed with acute leukemia

Bob Mellard’s brother-in-law, Darrell: surgery for bedsores due to 12 years of paralysisHailey Johnston: Friend of Zack Weakland, needs prayers to get back on a Godly trackWanda & Ferrell Backer: Cindy Proffitt’s parents, both have several health issues.
